Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative, office management, and clerical duties to assist the Executive Director and staff with project specific work, serve as the recording secretary for the Board of Directors, and is responsible for office operations. This position requires strong clerical skills, computer literacy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support staff with project specific work, such as meeting scheduling, meeting and event planning, word processing, editing, business correspondence, data entry, meeting minutes, mailings, compiling and organizing information for reports, etc. Serve as recording secretary to the Board of Directors
- Type, edit, and distribute items such as Board agendas and accompanying documentation, Board and committee meeting minutes, letters, reports, presentations, etc.
- Attend meetings, as assigned, and prepare and distribute meeting notices, agendas, and minutes in a timely manner.
- Ensure updated policies and procedures are entered into the proper database and that old versions of policies are archived, new versions tracked and maintained, Board approval obtained where required, etc.
- Maintain office operations such as workflow procedures, office supplies, office equipment maintenance, and office appearance
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Perform other tasks as assigned

Education/Experience
- Associate degree, Administrative Office Specialist, Business, Office Assistance Certificate or related field - OR -
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office environment
- Prior experience as an executive assistant or administrative assistant highly desirable
Technology Skills:
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Proficiency with Publisher, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive and applications such as Google Forms, Dropbox, and other software products

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
