We’re looking for an energetic and compassionate individual to assist our lead teacher in ensuring a positive and supportive learning experience for our 1-year-old students.
Ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or above
- Successful pass of a criminal background check
- Must be 18 years or older
- Enthusiasm and passion for helping children learn and develop
- Strong communication, high energy, patience, flexibility, punctuality, and professionalism
In this role, you would be responsible for the following:
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of infants and toddlers.
- Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that meets the developmental needs of toddlers (1 - 2 year olds).
- Supervise and interact with children during playtime, learning activities, and snack/lunch times.
- Assist in diapering, feeding, and maintaining personal hygiene for children.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring toys and materials are sanitized regularly.
- Ensure the safety of all children at all times by adhering to the center’s safety and security policies.
- Communicate with parents about their child’s day and progress as needed.
- Support the Lead Teacher in observing and documenting children’s growth and development.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm with 1 hour lunch break
Pay: $10-$12/hr
