Assistant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role is crucial in fostering the social, emotional, and educational development of students in a private school or daycare setting. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with children, providing guidance and support in their learning journey.

Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of each child.
• Support students in their daily activities, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational experience.
• Participate in the planning and execution of special events and activities.
• Provide support for children with special education needs, adapting lessons as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.

Experience

• Previous experience working with children in a private school or daycare setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable.
• Experience in lesson planning and implementing educational activities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for childcare and early childhood development is crucial for success as an Assistant Teacher.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
