The Director of Clinical Services and Education works with the community clinical support teams to assist in assuring that the quality of care and clinical standards are maintained at all Generations communities. In addition, this person is responsible for development, oversight, and management of PCC (PointClickCare) and Relias platforms as well as other clinical software employed by Generations.  Responsible for upholding the Generations five core values, mission, and vision. 

SCOPE OF JOB TASKS:

  • Demonstrates clinical proficiency and knowledge to effectively plan and coordinate clinical education consistent with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Seasoned knowledge of systems and technology with the ability to understand guide and support EHR and educational system processes.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of current regulatory requirements including the Board of Nursing, Department of Health, and all applicable state agencies.
  • Understands business and operational requirements, demonstrating the ability to design and establish goals to meet long and short-term objectives.
  • Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions calmly, with logic, clarity, and authority; and the ability to engage others.
  • Responsible and accountable for supporting the quality assurance pre-survey/Quality Enhancement process performed in each facility site annually.
  • Demonstrates ability to participate in the development, revision, review and rollout of policies and procedures of the clinical departments of the communities.
  • Demonstrates ability to assist in systems review and system implementation in new community acquisitions.
  • Demonstrates ability to support with trainings and programs to meet the ongoing needs of the clinical teams at the communities.
  • Shall communicate risks and concerns to community and Generations leadership including but not limited to Sr. ED, Director of Clinical Services for Generations, Regional Director of Operations.
  • May be assigned additional duties as needed. 

JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in the states assigned to support (OR, WA, CA, CO, UT).  May be asked to obtain licensure in other states that Generations operates in.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the area of, policy and procedure development, education and training in healthcare in which three (3) of those years are specific to the area to be supported (ALF or Post-Acute).
  • Must have two (2) years' experience multi-location oversight. 
  • Must be able to be self-directed.

Working Conditions: 

  • Time in spent in an home office/corporate office,  as well as the community setting for observations, trainings, and assessments.
  • Must have the ability to travel 75% of time.
  • Must have the ability to travel long distance by plane and/or vehicle.
  • Must have the ability to have overnight stays with travel and may be required to travel outside of normal business hours.

Salary range: $120k - $130K
