The Role
As Executive Director, you'll be the driving force behind the school's continued success and growth. You'll report directly to the Board of Trustees and oversee all aspects of organizational health, from academic excellence to financial stability.
Key responsibilities:
- Enact and maintain alignment with the school's vision and mission
- Ensure commitment to academic excellence
- Lead strategic planning and implementation efforts
- Manage finances, development, and human resources
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Foster a strong, collaborative staff culture
- Spearhead fundraising and community outreach initiatives
What You Bring to the Table
- New York State Building Leader Certification (strongly desired)
- Minimum of 10 years of combined education and school leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with EL Education or project-based learning (strongly desired)
- Proven track record in organizational leadership and strategic planning
- Strong financial management and fundraising skills
- Excellent communication and community engagement abilities
Compensation
- Starting salary: $120,000. Starting pay will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant professional experience, education, certifications
- Comprehensive benefits package, including participation in NYS Teacher Retirement.
