The Associate Corporate Strategy Analyst will focus on business analytics, modeling, reporting, and growth initiatives for the Company, coordinating cross-departmentally with Finance, Sales, and other constituents to meet the growth and risk management objectives of the firm. The role will work closely with the Strategy & Analytics Team, Executive Team, the Company’s private equity partner, and the Advisory Council and requires superior analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Domiciled in the Strategy & Analytics vertical, this position will also take direction from and coordinate closely with Finance and Sales Management, especially in matters related to the Company’s strategic priorities.
Principal Duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Partner with and take direction from members of the Executive Team, the SVP Growth & Strategy, and the VP of Corporate Development to create and communicate business plans, forecasts, and analyses of the competitive landscape.
- Assume ownership, maintenance, and enhancements of the Genesis Enterprise Model which includes detailed forecasts of origination volume, UPB, and all net revenue components.
- Build and maintain valuation and financial models by leveraging business and market intelligence from all key sources, including the Company’s data assets.
- Learn Genesis’ core business model and conceptualize new growth verticals and product suites.
- Interact cross-departmentally with Finance, Sales, Credit, Business Intelligence, and Technology/Data Science to support enterprise data strategy, including preparation and visualization of data assets.
- Work closely with the Data Science and Business Intelligence teams to build out new data models and maintain existing firm data resources.
- Play a supporting role in preparing investor materials along with other presentation-oriented materials as may be directed by the Executive Team and the Company’s private equity partner.
- Prioritize workflow and projects such that the combined efforts of all involved are focused on opportunities truly accretive to the Company’s long-term value creation.
- Handle ad hoc projects, analysis, and initiatives as may be delegated from firm management.
Education and Experience

- Between 0-2 years’ experience (or coursework) executing and overseeing financial / corporate analysis in Investment Banking (M&A), Consulting, Corporate Development, Private Equity / Venture Capital.
- Demonstrated proficiency in business case analysis and some knowledge of financial modeling.
- Experience with real estate and / or lending or a related field preferred.
- High-level presentation and communication skills, both written and oral, with strong project management, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional time management skills, coupled with the ability to handle multiple, complex, and competing priorities and projects, and delivering on promises made.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with exceptional skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000/annual
