About Us:
Genesis Farms LLC is looking for a versatile and adaptable Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This role requires someone who can quickly shift priorities, troubleshoot unexpected challenges, and manage a variety of tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a strong mechanical background, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where daily priorities can change at a moment’s notice.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly adapt to changing priorities based on facility needs.
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including mechanical repairs, electrical work, and plumbing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures on the fly.
- Use CMMS software to track and manage maintenance activities efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate shifting tasks.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a state-required background check (Misdemeanor marijuana and paraphernalia charges are acceptable).
- Strong adaptability – must be comfortable shifting focus throughout the day based on urgent maintenance needs.
- Reliable and proactive – able to recognize problems and respond quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier weights occasionally.
- Mechanically inclined with a solid understanding of tools and repair techniques.
- Experience with CMMS software or willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
