Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and client-focused Landscape and Deck Designer & Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll guide clients from the initial consultation through design, helping them bring their outdoor space ideas to life. This position works primarily with Company generated leads.
The successful candidate for this position is one who is dedicated to helping customers achieve their dream outdoor living spaces by performing assessments, measurements and producing an incredible 3D virtual architectural design. You will receive free training in 3D design on a comprehensive CAD program and will also be provided with a state-of-the-art computer and programs with access to an in-depth CRM program to help track our customer retention and sales with ease. The successful candidate will be reliable, goal-oriented, job-focused, self-motivated with a strong dedication to customer service. As leaders in the industry, the Genesis Group team must also present a high level of ethical standards for both themselves and as a representative of the team. The future team member will also be focused on serving both colleagues as well as customers to achieve a common goal. With the tools and teamwork provided this position is also responsible for driving sales growth, quality, and profitability. Leads are generated through a multiple of platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person consultations with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget.
- Create custom landscape and deck designs using design software.
- Present design concepts, material options, and detailed proposals to clients.
- Prepare estimates and project timelines based on client specifications.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Foster strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction from start to finish.
- Stay current on design trends, new materials, and industry innovations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in landscape design, architecture, or related fields.
- Strong portfolio showcasing completed landscape and deck projects.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of outdoor construction materials, plants, and design techniques.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation:
- Commission-based structure.
- Guaranteed advance against draw against future commission to provide income stability while projects are in progress.
