Position Overview:

The Director of Operations will oversee the daily operations of The Genesis Project, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness across all administrative, logistical, and facility-related functions. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills to maintain smooth operations while supporting program staff in delivering high-quality care to residents. Additionally, the Director of Operations will be responsible for tracking and reporting Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) data to support program effectiveness and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight & Compliance

Ensure compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including SPPU requirements.

Monitor policies and procedures to ensure consistent implementation across the organization.

Develop and maintain systems for tracking operational tasks, contracts, and compliance-related documentation.

Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to state and internal standards.

Facility & Vendor Management

Oversee facility maintenance, coordinating with the maintenance employee and external vendors.

Ensure all safety, security, and emergency preparedness protocols are up to date and enforced.

Manage vendor relationships and contracts for services such as IT, security, food services, and transportation.

Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) Tracking

Collect, track, and report PQI data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Work with leadership to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal review and external audits.

Ensure that PQI processes align with state regulations and best practices in residential care.

Administrative, HR, & Financial Coordination

Supervise administrative staff to ensure office operations run efficiently.

Work closely with the finance team to manage purchasing, budget tracking, and expense approvals.

Oversee inventory management for supplies, equipment, and resident needs.

Collaborate with HR staff to support the hiring process, ensuring it runs smoothly and complies with agency guidelines.

Staff & Program Support

Serve as a point of contact for staff regarding operational concerns.

Collaborate with the Executive Director and Program Director to ensure operational processes align with program goals.

Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a nonprofit, residential, or human services setting.

Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and facility operations.

Experience in data collection, reporting, and quality improvement processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to implement practical solutions.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively support staff and maintain organizational efficiency.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with youth-serving organizations or residential programs.

Knowledge of Oklahoma state licensing requirements for residential care facilities.

Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
