As the Professional Liability Underwriting Manager, your focus will be on the Southeast, particularly Georgia, where you will lead a team to success. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record and expertise in MPL, A&E, Lawyers, and Cyber within the Professional Lines space.
Responsibilities :
Line of Business : Professional Liability E&O
Classes of Business : A diverse mix, including A&E, Lawyers PL, Accountants PL, and Miscellaneous PL.
Book Size : Manage a $25M book in Atlanta, contributing to the growth and success of the team.
Account Size : Handle accounts ranging up to $2B in revenue.
Territory : Focus on GA, NC, SC, TN, AL, FL.
Distribution : Retail-heavy but also involves some wholesale partnerships.
PL Book Overview :
A diverse and well-maintained Professional Lines book, encompassing MPL, A&E, Lawyers, and Cyber
Significant growth within Cyber in 2023 and 2024
Stable LPL with about $30M in Excess countrywide; exploring opportunities to dip into the primary space.
MPL book is expanding, currently around $30-35M countrywide, focusing on individual risk UW and building a more robust flow with the team.
Cyber book size is substantial, ranging from $60-70M countrywide.
Real estate E&O involvement with a focus on larger names, constituting around $5M of the portfolio.
General Notes :
Focus on MPL, Cyber, and Lawyers; welcomes professionals with an E&O background.
Open to candidates from smaller regional carriers, not limited to those from large accounts.
