Job Summary
The IT Tech – FST is an entry-level position and is responsible for providing Tier 1 & eventually Tier 2 support for the company’s corporate network, including manufacturing, converting, and distribution facilities. This is a high visibility, high-impact position, key in maintaining the highest levels of end-user satisfaction and ensuring that the manufacturing process remains uninterrupted.
Minimum Requirements
- 0 - 1 years of work experience with a demonstrated history of achievement and progression utilizing technical skills, technologies, and systems. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 0 – 1 years of work experience in a related technology field with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field
Job Description Details
The IT Tech – FST’s primary responsibility is to provide support of computers and the associated networks in both the Business and Process Control environments. This candidate is new to the field and will learn how to apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures related to providing computer and IT technical support in a large enterprise environment. As an IT Tech - FST, this person is expected to be a quick and eager learner, proactively seeking knowledge and requesting help as required. At all times, the candidate is expected to maintain performance and decorum consistent with the company’s core values.
