Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers
- Get team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
- Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
- Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team
- Work with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams
- Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization
- Work with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role
- Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization
- Facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Act as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives
- 10 years of experience in technology and serving as a hands-on Scrum Master
- Agile coaching experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Information Technology or Similar
- Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables
- Working knowledge Application Lifecycle Management
- Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team)
- Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Process and detailed oriented
- Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments
- Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help team solve problems
- Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex fast paced environment without sacrificing quality or timelines
