Creative Training Development Professional

Genesis10 is seeking a Creative Training Development Professional for our client in the utilities industry. This long-term contract position is located in Dallas, TX 75202. Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office/2 day remote).

W2 Hourly Pay rate range: $60-$70/hr DOE

Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Training Development Professional who specializes in current technologies used for online and video-based learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, multimedia production, and the latest e-learning tools. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing engaging training programs that meet the needs of our diverse workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop engaging online and video-based learning modules using industry-standard e-learning tools and software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create relevant content that aligns with learning objectives.
• Utilize multimedia elements, including animations, graphics, and interactive components, to enhance learning experiences.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in instructional design and e-learning to continually improve training effectiveness.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

• Must provide a portfolio sample of work
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia Production, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in training development, specifically in online and video-based learning.
• Proficiency in e-learning development tools and software.
• Experience with graphic design, animation, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, articulate and others).
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and innovate training solutions.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and assessment tools.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g., HTML5, CSS) for enhanced e-learning development.
• Previous experience in a corporate training environment.

W2 Status:
