New Journey, a Genesis10 compmany, is actively seeking a resource for a full time, 4 month Contract position with potential for extension or conversion.
Compensation: $43.50 per hour
This position has a strong focus on maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all systems. Individuals are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in HVAC maintenance & troubleshooting and be multi-skilled in other areas (pipe fitting/plumbing, electrical).

Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems.
- Install, service, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment such as condensing units, compressors, and evaporators
- Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management.
- Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested.
- MA state refrigeration license
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of related trade schooling or equivalent
- 3 years eperience working with HVAC/mechanical systems
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes
- The main function of a Facilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings.
- Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- At least one year working in BioPharma or Pharmaceutical industry.
- OSHA 10 certification
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as NJAI/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
