Responsibilities:
- Participate in moderately complex Infrastructure Engineering initiatives and contribute to large-scale planning
- Evaluate and troubleshoot technical infrastructure issues involving variable factors
- Support incident management efforts using tools such as ServiceNow
- Provide implementation support for key risk initiatives and compliance efforts
- Lead and collaborate with teams to ensure middleware platform stability and efficiency
- Perform build, installation, configuration, patching, deployment, and maintenance of middleware tools (IBM MQ, Message Broker, Kafka, Solace)
- Monitor systems, handle outage calls, triage and resolve infrastructure issues
- 12 years of experience in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions, or equivalent through work, military, training, or education
- 8 years of hands-on experience with middleware platforms (IBM MQ, ACE/IIB, Kafka, Solace)
- Experience with IBM MQ on zOS, zLinux, AIX, and MQ Appliance
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting MQ Queue Managers, Clusters, Queues, Channels, Listeners, and Topics
- Experience in Linux and Windows middleware production support
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (IR360), incident management platforms (ServiceNow), and alert handling
- Strong experience with automation and deployment tools (Ansible, UDeploy)
- Knowledge of shell commands, basic Linux administration, and Java application server troubleshooting
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and load balancers (F5, AVI)
