Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mainframe-based posting and settlement application programs that impact both client and customer transactions
- Support mainframe file processing, ensuring seamless transactions and high system availability
- Participate in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises and implementation changes to maintain operational resilience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application lifecycle management, from design and development to testing and deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mainframe technologies and infrastructure
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with COBOL for mainframe software development.
- Knowledge and understanding of application lifecycle processes, including development, testing, implementation, and support.
- Strong understanding of High Availability (HA) concepts and architecture in a mainframe environment.
- Hands-on expertise with mainframe technologies, including:
- Job Control Language (JCL)
- DB2 databases
- CA7 scheduler
- Network Data Mover (NDM)
- IBM Mainframe Utilities
- Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM)
- System Display and Search Facility (SDSF)
- Custom Information Control System (CICS)
- IBM SPUFI
- RACF Security
Pay Range: $31-41
