Model Enablement Software Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer-Model Enablement with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC . This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Contribute to the design and development of solutions using technologies including Python, Spark, Django, Postgres SQL, and Power BI
• Implement data ETL processes and develop queries in big data environments
• Develop and maintain APIs, supporting CI/CD processes using Jenkins and other DevOps tools
• Ensure solutions comply with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in resolving moderately complex engineering issues and provide subject matter expertise
• Partner closely with the Model Development and Governance teams to manage model lifecycle processes
  

Required Qualifications:

• 4 years of Software Engineering experience, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military service, or education
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience with:

Python development
Database development (Postgres SQL preferred)
Power BI report development
Data ETL processes
Querying and working in big data environments

• Experience contributing to all stages of the SDLC
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay Range: $44-54
