Responsibilities:
- Responsible for capturing and refining business and/or system requirements (based on specialization)
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then working closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team
- Possess a working knowledge of the business and/or technical domain based on their specialization
- Leverage experience and understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software)
- Perform Cost/Benefit Analysis to align the technology to business strategy
- Gather functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests
- Determine the impact of modifications and enhancements on the application
- Act as the product(s) subject matter expert to support scope and requirement decisions
- Ensure changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies
- Assist users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting and may help configure test solutions to validate functional and system needs
- Identify, document and troubleshoot application related problems
- Document process, procedures and workflows associated with applications
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Building expertise in creating, analyzing, and improving processes
- Create, maintain, and present training materials for end-users
- Partner with architecture and tech solution owner to ensure project efforts are aligned to enterprise standards and tech strategy
- Document Impact Assessment for proposed projects
- Design a solution that can be leveraged by other platforms/LOBs
- Identify external service providers/interfaces needed on a project
- Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements for business requirements
- Knowledge of Pega Product and previous experience with Smart Disputes Framework
- Demonstrated ability to use multiple governance systems report and record deliverables
- Writing experience, particularly with policies, procedures and guideline
- Knowledge of merchant Services or Financial Services space
- Experience with various project management tools
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to facilitate discussions
- Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision
- Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Merchant services industry and claims/chargebacks experience
- Payments or Banking background is highly
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to team environment
- Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodology and understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Pega, Java, Oracle, REST, SOAP, XML
- Certified Pega Business Analyst
