Front Desk Agent
Job Summary: A Front Desk agent is responsible for checking hotel guests in and out of their rooms and ensures customers have a satisfying and enjoyable stay. Essential Functions:
Greets guests, check guests in and out of their rooms.
Ensures that every guest has an enjoyable experience at the hotel.
Answer guest inquires including recommending activities and restaurants.
Maintain safety of guest’s luggage when houseman is not available.
Manage online and phone reservations.
Manage updated records of bookings and payments.
Obtain guests contact details and stay dates.
Process all payments and verify credit card data.
Provide information about hotel, available rooms, rates, amenities, and payment options.
Responds to guests’ complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
Job Qualifications:
Must possess computer literacy.
Must possess a professional, polished image through in-person and phone interaction.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Well-developed and multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detailed oriented.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
Ability to handle sensitive information and keep strictly confidential.
Candidate must be dependable and reliable.
