Job Summary:
The Lambertville Restaurant and Inn, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is seeking for experienced and team-oriented candidates for the Food Runner position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
Responsibilities:
Set-up workstation before restaurant opens
Make sure dishes presentable and with proper garnish
Maintain plates, doilies and sauces
Maintain communication with waiting staff and the Kitchen staff
Make sure that all equipment is clean
Re-stock workstation
Always be polite and professional
Requirements:
Experience is a plus but not necessary
Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests
Be able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
Physical Demands:Physical, Mental and workplace Environment Conditions
The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk
Requires moderate physical efforts: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds.
