Our client, a leading entertainment company, is hiring a Market Research Analyst on a contract basis.

Summary:
This is a research-based role, the analyst is supporting senior analysts in the day to day, should be organized and able to work on several different tasks and projects, they should be able to maintain calendars and help with taking the first pass at a research instrument, and define the objectives of a research study, should be excited about media and working with kids. Any experience working with children is a plus. The client has studies that are tracking studies which require a month to month overview, we also monitor new media and new entertainment that is coming out.
Research will include areas such as: Content (development, acquisitions, pilot testing, and current series maintenance), Consumer Products (development and key metrics such as ownership and interest), Marketing (testing logos, trailers/promos, taglines, and key art), and Tracking (monitoring key metrics over time for both shows and franchises).
Responsibilities:
Supporting in the design, data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings for both qualitative and quantitative research projects-including responsibilities such as notetaking and survey link testing
Assisting with scheduling (managing the testing calendar and project timelines), gathering and organizing testing assets, managing vendors, and maintaining databases and shared server folders
Helping to create and review research instruments and materials such as questionnaires, screeners, discussion guides, data tables, and reports
Updating and summarizing findings in monthly and annual tracking deliverables
Keeping up with new and upcoming content in the preschool and kid landscapes
Contributing to special projects alongside other research counterparts as needed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in psychology, education, child development, marketing, or communications
At least 2 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research, preferably in media/entertainment or a kid-focused industry
Strong skills across Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Comfortable with navigating and analyzing large data sets
Additional Qualifications:
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail, project management, and organization
Strong skills in data visualization
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with coding open-ended survey responses is a plus
Experience working with and/or moderating kids is a plus
Pay Rate: $35- $37 /hour W2
