What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Caretaker position at Geneva Family YMCA?
We're renovating and expanding our facilities and are seeking a Caretaker to maintain and safeguard the cleanliness, sanitation, order of our high-traffic public facility. Tasks include but are not limited to mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of hallways, restrooms, gymnasium, public areas and fitness facilities as well as simple maintenance like replacing light bulbs, replenishing consumable supplies, and maintaining supply inventory. Experience in industrial and commercial cleaning practices preferred, including using mechanized equipment to clean and polish floors.
This job involves prolonged walking, standing, and bending, and requires lifting up to 20 pounds without assistance, and the ability to read and write in English. Hours are flexible but a minimum of four days per week are required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
