Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to perform general property maintenance and repairs efficiently while ensuring high standards for cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction. You will work closely with Property Management to keep the property in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to and prioritize resident maintenance requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, common spaces, and grounds.
Inspect buildings, maintain curb appeal, and handle daily/weekly repairs (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting).
Complete maintenance logs and ensure timely service.
Perform monthly/seasonal tasks such as turnover preparation, equipment checks, and filter replacements.
Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, and assist with purchasing as needed.
Promote positive resident relations and ensure safety standards are followed.
Assist with emergency maintenance issues and coordinate with Property Manager.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
