What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concessions Staff position at Geneva Lakes Family YMCA?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Concessions Staff are responsible for maintaining operations and assisting customers at the concession stand at Veteran’s Park in Lake Geneva. This position assists in setting the example and ensuring the highest-level customer experience and reports to the Concessions Manager. Hours will primarily be evenings Monday – Friday 4- 8 pm and some weekend day/evening shifts for any tournaments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Ability to provide excellent customer service while working in a very fast-paced environment
2. Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers in a very fast-paced environment
3. Proper cash handling, greeting, serving guests at the registers, taking orders, accepting payments, and handling cash, debit, and credit cards.
4. Prepare food such as popcorn, hot dogs, and nachos using standard formulas or following directions.
5. Prepare bills by using registers, accept payments, and make change for cash.
6. Scrub and sanitize counters and other equipment
7. Assess inventory and assist in preparing product orders as necessary
8. Stock and restock items as necessary
9. Insure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations
10.All other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum age of 16 years old.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Typical requirements within 60 days of hire include completion of Child Abuse Prevention; Adult and Pediatric CPR, First Aid & AED; Bloodborne Pathogens.
