Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance to ensure sustainability.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings.
- Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and supervise finance team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
- 5 years of progressive accounting and financial experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
