Job Summary: We are looking for an Automotive Office Manager to join our growing team! The right candidate will be ambitious, have leadership skills, have excellent interpersonal skills, have strong communication skills and the ability to meet and exceed goals. The Automotive Office Manager will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities for the Automotive Office Manager
- Manage and train accounting staff
- Prepare, review, analyze, and submit monthly manufacturer financial statements
- Maintain an open dialogue with other departmental managers
- Maintain internal controls
- Manage accruals and pre-paid accounts
- Process monthly Sales & Use Tax
- Support Budget and Forecast Activities
- Monthly Floorplan Reconciliation
- Process payroll timecards, sales commission sheets, tech sheets, and expense reimbursements on a bi-weekly basis
- Calculate Month Commissions
- Attend monthly financial reviews to review prior month results
Requirements:
- Strong communication, leadership, training and organizational skills
- Previous Automotive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting principles and practices.
- Proven experience leading an accounting team
