JOB SUMMARYDevelops and enhances external relationships, with a particular focus on hospitals, medical practices and physicians’ groups. Positions him/herself as a reliable resource for high quality home healthcare to new contacts to achieve top line revenue.
Identifies new business opportunities by:
- Visiting health care facilities on a regular basis and develop a friendly rapport with discharge planners, case managers and directors.
- Meet with health care professionals and build lasting, mutually beneficial relationships
- Develop a strong network of referral sources and maintain a pipeline of new clients
- Assist in the delivery of materials to inform potential clients on the benefits of our services
- Educate clients about the necessity of our services and how we can support quality of life among the aging population
JOB REQUIREMENTSThe requirements for the Business Development Specialist position include:
- Proven track record of selling and marketing in the health home care industry
- Strong and positive personality in displaying enthusiasm our health care services
- Experience developing a strong network of referral sources
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Reliable transportation
- An existing network of contacts to jump start new business
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,408.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
