Duties

- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in critical care transport as needed, ensuring the safe transfer of patients.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in dialyzing patients is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments is a plus.
- Proven experience administering injections safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of critical care transport procedures is advantageous.
- Understanding of workers' compensation law as it pertains to patient care is beneficial.
- Experience with toddler care is a plus for pediatric settings.
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and interpreting results accurately.
- Basic coding knowledge related to nursing documentation is preferred.
- Background in occupational health practices is an asset.
- Strong understanding of infection control measures in clinical settings.
