Position Summary:
IT Support Technician and Network Operations. They must be able to work in a team environment, have excellent documentation skills, great client communications, and have a strong desire to learn.
Position Location: This is a full-time position held in our office location although remote work is allowed periodically.
Growth Path: This position transitions well into Senior Support, System Administration, or System Engineering.
Keys to Success: Ability to utilize the different NOC resources (RMM and various Firewall & Networking Tools) and networking concepts to assist in automating, analyzing, documenting, and delivering appropriate actions based on operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
IT Technicians are responsible for the creation and tracking of all helpdesk & network support request tickets from various clients. Technicians will be required to identify the type of client, if charges are to apply, clearly document trouble-shooting methods, and invoice the performed work in our PSA System. Communicating with clients and vendors via phone & email in a professional manner.
· Provide troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and networking issues.
· Assist in maintaining servers, network devices, and other critical IT infrastructure.
· Continuously learn new technologies and apply them to daily tasks.
Requirements:
· Basic understanding of network technology concepts is required. A , Net level skills preferred but not required.
· Basic to expert understanding of routers, switches. (DHCP/DNS)
· Great understanding of all the Windows environments, and Mac & Linux is a plus.
· Experience with troubleshooting end-user devices such as PCs, printers, and peripherals.
· Basic to expert Hardware & software repairs on Servers, Computers, and Laptops.
· Basic to expert understanding email hosted exchange, routing, and tracing.
· Reliable transportation

- 8-hour daily shift Mon-Fri (in our office although occasional remote work permitted)
- On call for remote work
