Key Responsibilities
- CMM Programming & Operation
- Program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment with precision and efficiency.
- Approve or reject tight-tolerance machined products, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
- Quality Inspections
- Perform dimensional inspections on output samples using tools such as micrometres, calipers, and gauges, ensuring conformance to engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Select and apply appropriate inspection methods to verify product quality, including advanced measurement techniques.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed inspection records and document findings accurately.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive inspection reports into the system in a timely manner.
- Blueprint Interpretation
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand and meet product quality expectations.

- Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in quality control for machined parts, with a focus on tight tolerances.
- Proficient in programming and operating Zeiss CMM.
- Solid understanding of AS9100 Aerospace Standards and their application in a machining environment.
- Expertise in using precision measuring instruments to perform detailed inspections.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Must have skills
- Looking for a CMM programmer with experience using Calypso software for Zeiss CMM machines.
- 5 years of experience in quality control for machined parts, with a focus on tight tolerances.
- Able to program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment with precision and efficiency.
- Solid understanding of AS9100 aerospace standards and their application in a machining environment.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometres, callipers, gauges) to perform detailed inspections.
- Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
- Aerospace industry background
- Need candidates who have experience machining LARGE parts.
