What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Lending Processing Specialist position at Genisys Credit Union?
Responsible for administrative tasks for commercial loan processing in our Business Lending department. This position coordinates with lenders, members, and external vendors to collect and prepare documentation for closings. Additionally, they ensure that loan packages are complete, documentation is correctly prepared within required timelines, and inputs and maintains all required transaction and processing records according to procedures. File maintenance, answering and making calls, as well as providing professional service to our vendors, members, and staff are included.
Job Duties (include, but not limited to):
- Works with Business Development Officers to support reviewing for complete application packets.
- Follows up with on any missing documents or errors for underwiring in application packets.
- Completes loan processing duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Utilizes both verbally and written communication to communicate to internal and external members.
- High School graduate or equivalent
One to two years of business lending experience and/or training preferred
Understanding of business lending and loan products and services.
Strong typing abilities.
Well organized and attentive to detail
Good verbal public relations skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work well without excessive supervision.
