What You’ll Do
As an Accounting & HR Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in managing financial processes and
supporting HR functions to ensure smooth operations within our thriving medical practice. This is
a multifaceted role that blends accounting expertise with human resource management to enhance
both employee experience and business efficiency. This role is in office Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Accounting:
Oversee QuickBooks for financial record-keeping, transaction processing, and reporting.
Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Manage accounts payable, verifying invoices, tracking expenses, and processing vendor
payments on time.
Handle customized payments for doctors and vendors, ensuring compliance with financial
agreements.
Generate financial reports to support budgeting and strategic decision-making.
Human Resources & Payroll Administration:
Assist with employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new team members.
Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Oversee benefits administration, answering employee inquiries and ensuring proper enrollment.
Support HR initiatives, including employee engagement, performance tracking, and policy
enforcement.
Procurement & Office Management:
Maintain inventory of office supplies, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Place and track orders for medical and office supplies, optimizing cost-effective purchasing.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely
service fulfillment.
Compliance & Operational Excellence:
Ensure adherence to financial controls, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Maintain records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accuracy in billing and
operations.
Who You Are:
We’re seeking a proactive, detail-driven professional with:
✔️ 3-5 years of experience in a high-impact medical setting (dental or medical office experience
preferred).
✔️ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish – strong communication is key!
✔️ Proven organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
✔️ Tech-savvy abilities, including experience with QuickBooks and electronic medical records (EMR)
systems.
✔️ A customer service mindset, ensuring a seamless experience for both employees and patients.
✔️ Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
