What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Financial Planning and Analysis position at Gentiva?
We are looking for a Manager Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. This position will directly report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and is responsible for annual financial budgeting, financial forecasting, financial analysis, management reporting, and other projects as needed. These responsibilities will generally be finance related along with some exposure to operations.
- Oversees annual budgeting process for assigned business units.
- Analyze and compare financial results and metrics against plan and other internal benchmarking.
- Provides monthly analytical reviews of individual business unit and/or division financial results.
- Provides insights and analysis to support development of long-range goals, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provides financial assistance to Operations by identifying the financial impact of business decisions.
- Prepares financial models, including return on investment, for new starts and emerging business. Acts as a liaison between Operations and Corporate finance staff to facilitate the flow of information/analyses of data to ensure completion.
- Perform detailed analysis on our vendor spend.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years finance modeling, analysis, and budgeting
- Strong knowledge of financial operations to include budget preparation, variance analysis and strategic planning
- Strong technical knowledge of financial systems
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Able to travel up to 5%
- Good leadership skills; able to direct others
- Experience in Dayforce, SAP, Adaptive Insights and Great Plains is helpful
- Proven ability to provide both operational and strategic leadership
- Program and project management experience
- Able to build working relationships
- Health care industry experience is a plus
- Successful track record in setting priorities, keen analytic and organization skills
