Traction counter sales employees play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Their duties include greeting and assisting customers, providing technical advice, and promoting current sales promotions.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist customers with their parts inquiries and needs, either in-person or via telephone
Operate a cash register, computer, and paper cataloging systems, processing daily paperwork and forms
Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers
Communicate current sales promotions effectively
Demonstrate a positive attitude, helpful demeanor, and professional conduct and appearance at all times
Demonstrate knowledge of products and their applications, provide technical advice, troubleshoot, and help solve customers' problems
Provide sales support, process customer stock orders
Assist outside sales personnel as needed
Perform other tasks assigned by management
Key Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Prior Heavy Duty parts experience or knowledge is preferred
Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
A positive attitude and strong personal drive
Ability to learn in a fast-paced retail sales environment
Availability to work weekends
Valid driver's license
