We are more than a parts store and seeking talented individuals to join our NAPA family. As a NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist, you represent the face of the retail store and provide solutions for customers' automotive needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide auto parts answers and solutions to customers in person and over the phone
- Utilize knowledge of automotive parts to assist team members with customer inquiries
- Offer exceptional customer care and interactions with all visitors
- Maintain a high-energy presence in fast-paced stores
- Welcome retail customers and provide a positive consumer experience
- Leverage technology, including computers, cash registers, and paper catalog systems
About You
- You genuinely enjoy helping customers with their auto parts questions
- You have gained parts experience through work in the automotive industry or personal projects
- You are eager to learn about automotive parts if you don't have prior experience
- You want to join a team where you can grow your career and take on new challenges
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
- High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with fast-paced retail environments
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
Bonus Qualifications
- Background or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
- Customer-centric mindset (internal and external)
- ASE Certifications
