Store Counter Sales

We are a leading auto parts retailer, and we're seeking talented individuals to join our NAPA team as Automotive Parts Specialists. This role is ideal for those passionate about the automotive industry and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on auto parts to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Utilize extensive knowledge of automotive parts to assist colleagues in answering customer questions
• Prioritize delivering outstanding customer care and interactions with every visitor to our stores
• Bring high energy and a customer-focused approach to our fast-paced retail environment
• Welcome customers into our stores and engage them to provide a positive shopping experience
• Leverage technology, including computer systems, cash registers, and telephone equipment

About You:

• You genuinely enjoy helping customers with their auto parts and service questions
• You have gained experience in the automotive industry or have developed expertise through DIY projects
• You are eager to learn and expand your knowledge of automotive parts
• You want to join a team where you can grow your career and explore new opportunities

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers

Bonus Skills:

• Background or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision
• Familiarity with cataloging and/or inventory management systems
• ASE Certifications
