What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Genuine Search Group?
Controller
You’ll lead our client's accounting team and make sure their financial systems are strong, accurate, and aligned with their values.
This includes:
- Managing all accounting operations
- Creating financial reports and making sure they follow all rules and standards
- Working with the CFO on budgets and forecasts
- Making sure we’re paying bills, tracking income, and managing cash properly
- Overseeing payroll and benefits compliance
- Leading annual audits and working with outside auditors
- Helping improve how we do things to make our financial processes more efficient
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA is a plus
- 5–7 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Great with financial tools, especially Sage Intacct and Excel
- Experience leading a team and improving systems
- Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
- Someone who cares about doing meaningful work and supporting a good mission
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
