Our client, a leading manufacturer in the agricultural space is looking to add a Senior Cost Accountant to their growing team.
- Assist Accounting Managers with the Month-End Close process for multiple entities, including ledger entries, accruals, and reviewing inventory and production costs.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts, including monthly reconciliations and database management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to design, implement, and monitor cost-related processes with a focus on production and inventory controls.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis, implement new ERP systems (Epicor/Wherefour), and support quarter/year-end close, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze manufacturing cost variances (labor, materials, overhead), recommend improvements, and support management with cost-efficiency strategies.
- Oversee inventory valuation, cost accounting systems, and develop standards for direct labor and overhead rates, while ensuring strong procurement and inventory controls.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
