Production Lab Technician 1st Shift

Role Overview

This position is on 1st Shift and starting pay is $21.00/hr. Operates production equipment for processing cell sexing technology.  Perform daily tasks as defined by production needs.

You Will

• Maintain production operations of assigned cell sexing workstation
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain lab documentation
• Learn other ancillary processes throughout the production lab as business needs necessitate, such as but not limited to:
• Fhil
• Centrifuge/tubes table
• Sample making
• Dish room
• Incoming quality control
• Troubleshoot issues that arise. Communicate issues with appropriate personnel (leads, supervisors, manager, or support group)
• Provide ideas for improvement in the work environment (relentless improvement and/or RIB cards)
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must possess High School diploma or equivalent; Post-High School education or experience within a production laboratory setting is preferred
• Ability to lift/transfer 46 lbs. frequently
• Strong attention to detail and focus on maintaining the highest level of quality at all times
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Ability to utilize a computer, keyboard and mouse to accomplish work tasks (includes but is not limited to the ability to look at computer monitor screens for the entirety of assigned shift)
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Ability to maintain professional verbal and written communications with co-workers, internal and external customers, and vendors at all times
• Experience in a laboratory or equivalent production environment is preferred

 Working Conditions 

• Stand for long periods of time
• Monitor equipment and computer for long periods of time
• Exposure to chemicals occasionally (PPE is provided)
• 1st Shift 6:00am – 2:30pm $21.00/hr
• 2nd Shift 2:00pm – 10:30pm $23.00/hr
• 3rd Shift 10:00pm – 6:30pm $24.00/hr
