Job Description:
The Production Laboratory Technician will work within a team to learn and assist in the processing, packaging, and quality control of bovine semen. This role will aid in achieving current and forecasted production goals and will actively seek opportunities for improvement and professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, timely, and quality packaging of semen according to ABS standards
- Assist in sorting, applying tags, and preparing racks for daily use
- Support startup and printing of straws, maintaining quality, quantity, and timing expectations
- Maintain equipment operation and adhere to proper cleaning, sanitation, and sterilization protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience
- Post-high school education preferred
- Experience in customer service and laboratory settings beneficial
