Wire Desk Treasury Analyst
Job Summary
The Wire Desk Treasury Analyst is responsible for daily treasury operations, including providing monitoring wire transactions, accurate cash reporting, forecasting needs for the warehouse and servicing facilities, and some risk management activities.
Job Duties
- Monitor and assist with daily operating wire transactions
- Create operating wire templates, including verbal verifications of wire instructions
- Monitor and ensure adequate funding for servicing related advances and custodial requirements
- Review and enter all wire requests to servicing activities, such as escrow boarding, escrow transfers, corporate advances and G-Fee funding
- Generate wire report for daily and monthly summary of outgoing wires
- Ensure escrow balances and other funds exist in company general ledger before processing wire transfers
- Assist tracking down remittance information related to servicing and interim servicing deposits
- Assist with forwarding borrower payments to investors, sub-servicers, and investor sub-servicers
- Monitor warehouse funding allocations to ensure optimization of warehouse utilization and coordinator of operating cash accounts
- Monitor and report aging “Loans Held for Sale” pipeline, engaging Post-Closing and Secondary Marketing departments for updates
- Validate wire instructions for all fundings
- Monitor and analyze the company’s daily cash position to cover cash commitments and assist in the execution of the daily cash management duties
- Prepare loan files and order wires for scheduled closings
- Validate ABA and Account Numbers on wire instructions
- Pay down warehouse lines related to warehouse purchase
- Validate and reconcile investor purchase advices
- Balance wires if extra money was sent or receive back from the warehouse
- Pool cash from all secondary bank accounts when necessary
- Administer the ACH program
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on the global cash position
- Assist with the company’s hedging program
- Adhere to month-end cut-off schedules set by the Finance Department
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Builds relationships with internal stakeholders and team members and communicates effectively
- Assures a backup is effectively trained for their absence
