MAIN DUTIES….
- Lead, manage, and hold the team accountable
- Areas of supervision:

- Finance
- Manage, direct, and coordinate all company accounting functions
- Execute and manage day-to-day transactional accounting functions
- Willing and able to handle transactional, analytical, and process improvement functions
- Conduct software evaluation and implementation
- Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis
- Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Responsible for enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
- Coordinate activities of external auditors
- Manage the company budget process
- Fixed asset management
- Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
- Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
- Oversee, evaluate, and refine the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
- Payroll Management and Processing
- Weekly
- Incentive, commission and bonus calculation and management on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis as required
- Cash and risk management
- Work 100% in the office (non-remote)
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CONTROLLER:
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller required
- BA/BS in Accounting required
- CPA or MBA preferred, not required
- Strong communication skills in all forms, with a knack for effective presentation delivery
- Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required
- Previous experience working with Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Financial analysis experience
- Well-founded grasp of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience with inventory and material costs as a significant (more than 1/3) of cost of sales
- ADP and other major payroll processing companies
- Experience working with multiple types of ERP platforms preferred
- QuickBooks online
- Microsoft Business Central
- Sage Intact
- General familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR), and collections
- Willing and able to accept and embrace change
Compensation:
Base of $125,000-$150,000.00 DOQ Bonus/Incentive Plan
