Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
Facilitate sessions with individuals, groups, or families
Refer clients to specialists if necessary
Create a treatment plan based on each client's needs
Monitor client progress during treatment
Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
Prior experience in psychotherapy
Examine issues including substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self-image, stress and suicide
Help clients define goals, plan action and gain insight
Take a holistic (mind and body) approach to mental health care
