About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Order Entry Specialist to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for processing orders with speed and precision from start to finish.
- Facilitate smooth order fulfillment by verbally communicating essential order details.
- Coordinate shipping details and maintain an efficient filing system for completed orders.
- Ensure accurate billing and shipping details.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent and additional education or experience in order processing, shipping, or customer service are a plus. Experience in data entry or similar roles, particularly in a metal processing, production or manufacturing environment, is preferred.
Key Skills
- Organizational Skills: Strong capability to manage a large volume of orders and documents efficiently.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP / data entry systems (e.g., Ability to troubleshoot incomplete or incorrect orders and research issues through our computer database).
