Are you an Electrical Engineer with 5 years of technical experience? Your day to day duties and responsibilities after hire will include (but may not be limited to)
- Analyzing and designing AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control
- Integrating, testing, troubleshooting, and verifying electrical hardware
- Developing test criteria and assisting in the design of test systems
- Performing component and architecture trade studies to determine optimal system solutions to design hardware and electronics based on commercial and industry components and technologies
- Designing cable assemblies
- Developing new electronics in the form of PCB designs and corresponding tests
- Developing technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer
- Generating design and interface documentation
Experience, attributes and skills required for success in this role include :
switch mode DC-DC converters and knowledge of control loop stability analysis
creation of high-level functional diagrams
