We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant with a strong focus on administrative tasks to support our Corporate Human Resources Department. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by managing essential administrative functions, maintaining employee records, and assisting in HR-related activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES will include but may not be limited to
HR & Office Administrative Functions :
- Ensure the accurate and timely submission of Form I-9 documentation before initiating the E-Verify process.
- Leverage the onboarding system and work effectively with hiring office personnel to finalize new hire documentation and onboard new hires into the HRIS system before the bi-weekly payroll processing deadline.
- Process personnel actions, such as changes in classification, salary adjustments, and promotions and terminations, using HRIS and other software programs.
- Maintain personnel files and other HR records in strict compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Administer employment and wage verification processes, liaising with federal investigators as needed.
- Manage and oversee new hire reporting and unemployment claim responses across all states.
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance and support to the HR Department by drafting and distributing internal and external communication materials as required for various initiatives.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential documents and situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Maintain office supply inventory to support corporate office needs.
