Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree essential; MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
- 1-3 years experience in Product, Brand, or Marketing Management in a B2B industrial products industry.
- Experience in sales/marketing/management of polymers or related materials is desirable.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience.
- Effective goal setting to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Complex thinking skills to translate customer needs into solutions.
- Effective communication skills: oral, written, and presentation.
- Self-motivated with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Basic budgeting and product pricing experience.
- Strong computer skills in Excel/PowerPoint/Access; Tableau proficiency a plus.
- Salesforce.com experience is a plus.
- Support the Cross-Functional Team: Assist in monitoring business results, initiate actions to achieve EBITDA targets, analyze sales records, and ensure product availability meets customer needs.
- Contribute to Profitable Growth: Support overall EBITDA, help expand profit margins, manage product pricing, monitor product gross margins, and drive market measurement and tracking activities.
- Manage and Optimize the Current Product Offering: Assist in developing and implementing product line strategy, oversee new product launches, manage product profitability, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Prioritize Product Development Activity: Ensure that product development aligns with strategic goals and market needs.
- Direct Span of Control: Assist in overseeing a cross-functional team. Support staff in managing existing product groups, new product development, and programs.
- Indirect Span of Control: Coordinate with production, sales, research, manufacturing, and distribution teams.

- Daily Work: Monitor business results and product availability. Analyze sales records and performance against targets. Provide continuous technical support to customers and sales personnel.
- Weekly Work: Review and manage product pricing processes. Monitor product gross margins and profitability. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability and compliance. Negotiate deals with the sales team.
- Monthly Work: Develop and review product forecasts. Generate and monitor sales campaigns. Conduct executive marketing/sales calls to maintain customer contact and evaluate market trends. Conduct Monthly Business Reviews with Leadership. Drive internal conversation/narrative about business status.
- Quarterly Work: Participate in Strategic Planning: Engage in quarterly strategic planning sessions to align product development and marketing strategies with overall business goals. Review Product Performance: Conduct comprehensive reviews of product performance, including sales, profitability, and market share analysis. Oversee New Product Launches: Ensure new product launches are on track and meet the requirements of the Stage Gate process. Attend Industry Events: Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to develop business contacts and gather market intelligence. Evaluate Market Trends: Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement. Update business outlook for senior leadership.
