Position: Construction Site Superintendent - Traveling
Location: Kansas City, MO

Summary:
The Superintendent position manages ongoing projects onsite and oversees employees to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are being met.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a daily job site log and hold project safety meetings.
Attend daily General Contractor planning meetings.
Review and understand construction drawings and blueprints.
Coordinate all construction services and activities.
Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each subcontractor.
Ensure construction is on schedule and make changes as necessary.
Communicate directly with project manager to ensure all materials arrive as required.
Willingness to travel as needed throughout the continental US.
Ensures that proper safety training and incident reporting procedures are followed, alerts the Safety Director if there are any concerns.
Adheres to guidelines for expense reports and submits to Payroll Specialist in a timely manner.
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and motivated, positive attitude. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma; 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems required. Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel.
Experience of leading a team of individuals through projects to completion.
Clean MVR and able to maintain clean MVR.
Ability to travel 90-100% of the time with overnight stays when required.
Effective communication skills.
