Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and management of an overall actionable marketing strategy that matches business goals
- Ownership of the Customer Journey across all customer facing platforms
- Management and analysis of an SEO strategy that keeps up with that ever-evolving ecosystem
- Help to develop customer personas and then develop campaigns to engage those customers
- Collaboration with Product Management, Sales and Engineering groups to establish portfolio positioning based on specific value propositions for each product
- Constant evaluation of the competitive environment across all regions and product categories
- Management of a social media strategy that is designed to find incremental sales leads
- Creation and management of all digital and print collateral, websites, customer facing accounts
- Plan, organize, and manage GSSI’s participation at tradeshows and conferences
- Generation of comprehensive studies on market trends, sizes, potential and risks
- Find creative ways to attract new customers to GSSI products and services
- Manage and optimize Salesforce CRM to support marketing initiatives, including lead tracking, segmentation, campaign execution, and reporting
- Implementation and management of tools and processes that improve efficiency, especially across groups
- Direct management and mentoring of other members on the Marketing team
- Periodic management of non-GSSI resources hired to help achieve business goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or in Business, Marketing, Communications or Psychology; MBA or Masters degree in Marketing preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in a marketing management or leadership position
- A minimum of 2 years of direct management experience
- Track record of SEO management that has demonstrated measurable improvement
- Experience marketing products globally, including forming unique strategies for regional markets
- Experience working with direct and indirect sales channels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven experience developing successful marketing plans and campaigns
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with digital marketing and social media strategy
- Experience with marketing automation platforms
- Attention to detail, a “can-do” attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team
- Advanced computer skills, including significant experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
Travel Requirements:
This position will require up to 10-15% overnight travel.
