Your tasks

  • Develop and implement a successful sales strategy to align with corporate goals and achieve objectives.
  • Analyze and monitor sales forecast activity and profit margin performance and make the necessary changes in a timely manner to achieve goals consistent with the Region and Company objectives.
  • Create action plans to penetrate new markets and cultivate customer relationships. Take a primary role in the sales efforts to acquire key prospects and secure the order.
  • Support critical customer situations and liaison with Service and Application staff to obtain the best solutions to maintain customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Provide customer / dealer / manufacture (OEM) support, including sales, installation, technical backup, regular follow-up visits, education, and overall regional territory analysis.
  • Establish professional relationships within the industry and partner with customers to understand further and anticipate their needs.
  • Prepare periodic budget and sales reports showing volume and performance in the region. Complete other reporting duties consistent with the Regional Sales Manager position.
  • Conduct seminars and attend trade shows promoting System 3R as the leader in the industry.
  • National and international travel to GF Machining Solutions and System 3R locations, trade shows, and customers is required regularly to cultivate internal and external relationships.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in sales or business; four to six years of related industry experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior sales management experience preferred, ideally in an engineering, tooling / automation, and / or machine tool environment
  • Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word, and Power Point. Experience with Sales Pad, CRM, and Great Plains preferred
